• Data Product Owners can manage and automate access to data products, resulting in faster response times to access requests, and birthright access.
• Data Stewards can centrally manage privacy and security policies that dynamically mask and filter sensitive data everywhere, using policy based access controls.
• CDOs can centrally monitor, report and audit data access and usage, while also configuring controls that will alert data stewards in case of data security risks.

💭 Example scenario

Imagine giving users access to masked tables across Snowflake, Databricks and/or BigQuery for 6 months, while giving other users access to the unmasked data for only 1 day. Each time the access is automatically revoked after the respective time periods have expired.

✍️ How does the preview work?

Selected participants will be granted access to this preview feature in their Collibra non production environments. The Collibra Product team will provide test activities that will help with initial configuration and facilitate Data Access exploration via this portal, the Preview Platform. 

To maintain a spot in the program, participants are required to share feedback actively: submitting satisfaction scores, logging feedback tickets and completing program surveys—all directly within the Preview Platform.

👤 What is the ideal tester profile?

• Users interested in managing request access as well as masking and filtering sensitive data in Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery.
• Users that want to connect their Identity Provider have to use Entra ID or Okta.
• Participants must be Collibra Cloud customers with a non-production environment updated to the latest release.
• Participants must have Edge enabled, with the necessary access controls to their data warehouse - guidance for access controls will be covered in step 0 of the preview
