What is it?

Collibra's new two-way Microsoft Teams integration transforms data governance from a separate task into a natural part of your daily workflow. Move beyond just receiving alerts and start acting on them instantly: receive notifications, reply to comments, search the catalog, and share trusted data assets all without ever leaving your MS Teams workspace.

This preview program is the opportunity for Collibra and MS Teams users to try this integration early and share their feedback with the Collibra Product and Engineering team.

When will it start?

November 2025.

What is the ideal tester profile?

• User needs to have a Collibra non-production environment to test on, that gets the Collibra 2025.11 monthly release, and has comments enabled.
• User must already use Microsoft Teams and have institutional IT approval to connect their environment to their Teams. This will be done via a zip file provided by Collibra, which the user must upload to create the Collibra app in their MS Teams tenant. (Note: it is possible to limit access to the app to a small set of users, if desired). If the user does not want to test on their Teams production tenant, they must have or be able to create a Microsoft testing tenant.
